Club Meeting - DG Visit

DISTRICT GOVERNOR MAKIKO NAKASONE

Happy New Rotary Year!

You have had an outstanding start from the patriotic Fourth of July parade to a spectacular inaugural meeting to a generous youth scholarship presentation. I have seen your activities on Facebook and Instagram and am amazed how energized you are to serve your own clubs and the people in need in your community. Rotary does not take a long summer vacation because there are people who need our help.

On July 18, I embarked on my ambitious 2.5-month-long District Governor’s Official Club Visits. As your DGN and DGE, I had visited most of the district’s 63 clubs and met most of the club presidents privately, listening to their goals and discussing how the District could support them.

At the club visit, I look forward to learning more about your club. I hope you will get to know me better so we can work together towards our common goals. I am so excited to know that by the end of September, I will have met you all.

My team and I are planning many exciting workshops, events, projects and training sessions throughout the year. So, stay tuned.

Together, let’s “Create Hope in the World”!
