Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth White is experienced in both criminal and civil courts, having begun her judicial career in 1997 when she was appointed to the Los Angeles Municipal Court and was assigned to the historic San Pedro Courthouse.  After the merger of the Superior and Municipal Courts in 2000 Judge White was reassigned to a  general civil department in the court's downtown Stanley Mosk Courthouse. .  Her previous career as an attorney was at the international law firm of Loeb and Loeb from 1981 - 1997.  She has served as an adjunct faculty member at both USC and Loyola Law Schools, and is the author of the Rutter Group paralegal manual on Civil Procedure Before Trial and co-author of the publisher's paralegal manuals on Evidence and Personal Injury.  Judge White received her undergraduate degree from UCLA and her law degree from Loyola Law School.  She is a resident of Palos Verdes Estates.  Her husband Bob has visited our club on several occasions as a guest of Bob Johnson.
