Big shout out to David Rowe and Rick Humphrey for our first HOVOOTM. The PVP Land Conservancy had an Outdoor Volunteer Day at Alta Vicente that involved removing invasive plant species which will help to preserve the native sage scrub habitat that is critical to local wildlife. Thanks to all who participated and pics below!
Last Friday, we had a very cool meeting with Officer Carlbourg and Nyx, from the Redondo K-9 police unit and they did not disappoint. If I had to guess what a former undercover narcotics officer turned K-9 officer and his dog looked like--it would be Officer Carlbourg and Nyx!
