Dear Rotarians,
We are dark this week because Thursday is Thanksgiving! I want to take this moment to thank everyone in the club for the amazing work they've done in these past few months.
Our work with Mend The Bend, spearheaded by Julia, has been extraordinary. Not only have the residents affected by the landslide been thrilled and grateful for our help, but this project has set an example for everyone on the Hill.
Mend The Bend has also been recognized by local government and business. Thank you to Julia and everyone who volunteered. You should feel very proud.
Beyond that, we have held HOVOOTM's, participated in Rise Against Hunger, and served the community as Rotarians do. A heartfelt thank you to everyone and for any event that I missed.
I also want to say we are thrilled to have new members recently inducted and several new members coming in the New Year. It is wonderful to see the club growing and we look forward to getting to know our new members, and getting them involved in our new fundraiser!
