Let's send a big thank you to Kath for our visit to VEFA Gallery last week. This Friday, we are back at the library for Rob Katherman & Juaz Baez from Harbor College Foundation.
 
Also, great work to Mike Spalding and Greg O'Brien for our work at Pageant of the Arts! Pics below. We had winners this year :)

NEW MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT: JANET CHEN

A new membership application from Janet Chen has been approved. Janet is a real estate consultant with Keller-Williams. She has a passion for community engagement and service. She's had a lifetime of participating in community life, and she strives to leave her positive mark on her community which is Rancho Palos Verdes if not the entire Peninsula. Her husband, Jeff and her two children, Jamie and Jacob, all live in RPV,  Janet is looking forward to becoming a Rotarian.
 
This serves as the second of two announcements required per PVP Rotary bylaws. Please send aby written objections to Jim Hartman by 3/21.
 

Club of Woodland Hills and The Greater Contribution (TGC)

Our club has proudly supported The Greater Contribution (TGC) in the past, and we're excited to welcome back Karon Wright, President and Co-Founder of TGC, for a special update on the organization's impact in Uganda. TGC's mission, "Empowering Women to Work Their Way Out of Poverty," comes to life through their work, providing microloans and training to women striving for financial independence. Karon will share the latest developments, success stories, and how lives are being transformed through this powerful initiative.

District Brunch Time 4/5 

The Rotaract and Interact clubs of District 5280 are leading the third and final District Breakfast of the Rotary year! This youth service-led event is so special we decided to make it a Brunch!  And it's more than just brunch - it includes an optional afternoon of exploring the best of San Pedro.

"Culture Fest: A Global Journey To End Polio", a walk to end polio followed by a celebration of cultures! Hosted at Verdugo Park in Glendale, the day will include music, dancing, food and more!

2025 Barbados Humanitarian Trip

Registration is open! Join us on the beautiful island of Barbados where we will be making a difference in the lives of women and children, supporting emergency efforts in this hurricane prone region, and sharing fellowship with our amazing Rotarian brothers and sisters in the Caribbean!
