DGN Albert Hernandez: The Co-Chair Of The Humanitarian Trip To Puerto Rico
Albert Hernandez presented a wonderful video and account of the humanitarian trip to Puerto Rico. PR has been devastated by multiple hurricanes and the damaging consequences of Covid. Past DG Guity Javid was committed to helping PR rebuild. The humanitarian trip addressed upgrades to schools, agricultural programs for the homeless, skill building and training, and much more.
The video also depicted the incredible camaraderie between clubs from different districts. It is clear a good time was had by all while doing impressive work. It was a heartwarming presentation and brilliant encouragement for people to sign up for the next humanitarian trip. It is in Belize, and we will get you details as soon as we have them.

Many of our Rotarian friends in Florida have lost their homes and everything they have. I'm relieved to report that Sarasota (home to the editor's mother) was spared but Fort Meyers, Sanibel, Northport, and other areas were not. No pressure at all but if you are interested in learning more or helping out, click below.
