With the primary metric for success of this new initiative being increased membership, PVP Rotary has signed a contract with a social media specialist to help us boost our presence on Facebook, Instagram and our new LinkedIn pages. Preston Lane was selected amongst a narrowed down group of 3 great candidates to work with us on creating, editing and posting content on our social media pages. Somehow our club is still somewhat of a secret to most people in the area and we want to change that!
Much of the success will be as a result of all of our PVP Rotarians to follow the pages. MAKE SURE TO LIKE EVERY POSTING and LEAVE A COMMENT (even just a simple “Great!” or a smiling emoji is helpful) and SHARE the post with all your friends. On Rotary's EPIC Day of Service, we went back to our Adopt-A-Highway on the upside of Crenshaw between PV Dr. N and Silver Spur to fill many bags of trash that people have “misplaced” over the last several months. We had wonderful participation and we had Preston Lane out there documenting the event with pictures, and video from the ground, a trash picker's POV, as well as from a drone. President-Elect Carol Levi
Holds First Board Meeting
President-Elect Carol Levi held her first board meeting last night at her beautiful home in RPV. Providing some delicious food and tasty beverages, she led her board in discussion about many the special things that will be happening starting July 1. With several members returning for a second year at their position, the experience showed and gave great confidence that the 2026-2027 will continue to assure PVP Rotary is the greatest club in the Universe!
