Member Highlight: Amanda Krampert

Over the last few months, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Amanda and she has a heart of gold! Amanda's commitment to helping the community knows no bounds as does her care and concern for all around her. She is a welcomed and valued addition to the PVP Rotary Club!

Amanda is relatively new to Palos Verdes, coming from sunny St. Petersburg FL only last summer.  She wanted to get involved in her new community and stumbled upon PVP Rotary while searching for something that would enable her to make new connections while giving back.

Her real estate career has allowed her to build lasting relationships professionally and personally over the years, and many past clients and vendors she now calls friends.  After moving to PV she joined The Kondo Group, a top-producing team in the South Bay.

She lives in Rolling Hills Estates with her partner and is a bonus mom to 3 rambunctious kiddos.  In her spare time she enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with her adorable and furry sidekick, Franklin.

Rotary News!

The Rotary Foundation got the highest 4-star rating from the Charity Navigator for the 15th year in a row. No wonder The Rotary Foundation remains the first-choice charity for people all over the globe. Our contributions to The Rotary Foundation in the last Rotary year raised more than US$427 million. These have helped in funding more than 1,100 global grants, 470 district grants, and 310 disaster response grants. Our communities are benefiting through such sustainable, life-changing projects. Continued contributions in this Rotary year will help us "Create Hope in the World."

Rotary members around the world are gearing up for World Polio Day on 24th October. Efforts continue all year around but, on this day, we renew our commitment to getting rid of Polio. Members advocate for continued funding for polio eradication and highlight the significance of finally ending this disease.

District Business

Don't Forget To Buy Your Tickets!

Digital Drawing Tickets:

Last year, we completed most of the raffle tickets in a digital format where you simply had to complete the information for one ticket and the rest of the tickets that you purchased were auto-filled electronically. Due to the success and ease of this format, we will continue it this year. To make it even easier this year, we have created an upload link- return all tickets electronically and we will print your tickets and place them in the hopper for the drawing.
Upload your completed digital tickets: Fill out your digital tickets and return your tickets via the upload link.
The District Breakfast theme is "Partnership Builds Capacity and Creates Hope In The World" with keynote speaker Jennie Nevin, Executive Director/COO of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) 2013-20. Sign up early!

District Grants Due!
