Thank You From Richard Foss!!
On behalf of the staff at Collage and the students that we help, I thank you for the generous donation of $8,000. This comes at a crucial time, when funding from organizations that depend on federal grants are in limbo due to decisions made far away. Your actions will help assure our stability in the medium to long term. We will put the money to good use, with a focus on supplying instruments and on adding more music lessons and jam sessions to engage the community.
Collage will issue quarterly reports of our progress to major donors, including details about how grants and sponsorships are spent and our plans for the future. We invite you and the other members of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary to suggest new programs, methods of outreach, and recipients of instruments and other resources. You may be aware of communities that we are not in touch with, and if we work together we may find ways to tailor our programs to their needs.
