We have some business before we jump into the holiday, so first up, a new member announcement! A new membership application from Dennis Benko has been approved by the board.
This serves as one of the two announcements required per PVP Rotary bylaws. Please send any written objections to membership chair, Jim Hartman by 12/1/2023.
Next, congratulations to President Julia on her Citizen of the Year award! Julia has been a gift to this community and it's clear her work has helped and influenced so many people in the south Bay. Here is her wonderful speech.
"I would like to thank each one of you for the love and support you have shown with my recent honor of Citizen of the Year. I am deeply grateful. For those who were able to attend … thank you for your support and presence at the Awards Ceremony. Having you there added additional joy to the occasion! Thank you for making this honor even more special. I feel so very fortunate to be part of such an amazing Rotary club….an amazing Rotary family! I am beyond blessed to have you all in my life."

Holiday Party - Have You RSVP'd??
We will once again host our annual coveted ornament exchange, so please bring a wrapped ornament (value between $10-15) if you wish to participate.
There will be an ugly sweater contest (prizes will be awarded), music and a sing along!
We will be accepting unwrapped gifts for the Salvation Army Toy Drive. Guests will be $40.
