Under the helmsmanship of Sanjay Murty and Audrey Stempel (Daniel Elroi's wife) with engineering design consultant Vincent Jue, construction and decor team Minal Mondkar, Paul Klose and Judi Rook, your Rotary Club of Palos Verdes Peninsula took FIRST PLACE in the annual cardboard boat race at the District picnic! This is an incredible feat, and will be remembered for years to come!
Most remarkably, the boat itself remained seaworthy and stayed gloriously afloat, while other boats caved in and sank all around them. Sanjay and Audrey floated in as champions!
District Governor Brady Connell handed the first place trophy to our club.

The Rotary Club of PVP participated in the PVP Chamber Business Connect Expo on September 2 at the Norris Pavillion. There were over 60 exhibitors, and a large turnout from the public. Many new connections were made to our club. Thanks to Cindy Martin, Judi Rook, Paul Klose and Suzy Zimmerman for manning the Rotary table.
