We are dark this Friday because I hear there is a special celebration this weekend. I don't know where it is or what time so no details here!
We do have my final board meeting for the club board on Friday at 12:30 on Zoom. Again, it is at 12:30 on Zoom and I will send a reminder on Thursday evening.

NEW MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT: BILL BELL
A new membership application from Bill Bell has been approved. Bill is a PV local and the lucky engineer who took over for our very own John Schuricht. Bill is a devoted husband and father and we look forward to getting to know him.
This serves as the first of two announcements required per PVP Rotary bylaws. Please send any written objections to Jim Hartman ASAP as we'd love to induct Bill during my final meeting in two weeks!

Peace Builders Zoom + Q&A with the director of the "There is Another Way" film
The D5280 Peace Builders committee invites anyone who is interested in furthering peace in our world to a virtual meeting on June 9. Stephen Apkon, the director of the film "There Is Another Way", will be joining us and it will include a Q & A. It’s 1 hour long zoom and we will be inviting our District to watch the livestream of the movie which will air on June 12th. The more people on the June 9th zoom the better. The world needs to see this movie on June 12th and this zoom will help us enroll people. What a great film to share with Rotarians around the world.
