The Greater Van Nuys Rotary Club is collaborating with several other Rotary Clubs, Interact Clubs, and the general public on Saturday, September 10th, from 10 am-12 pm to decorate Sweet Cases for foster youth through the non-profit, Together We Rise.
The Rotary Club of Mental Health & Wellness will be sponsoring 10 Sweet Cases for the event, which includes a blanket, teddy bear, coloring book with crayons, and a hygiene kit.
Proceeds collected by each club will help fund Together We Rise's different foster support programs, such as college and vocational scholarships, siblings' days together at Disneyland, teen shopping sprees, emergency relief support, and retreats, to name a few, but also each financially partnering Rotary Club will be matched with foster agencies in our community so we can donate our finished items afterward to see the immediate impact.
