On September 11, LA Fire Department Assistant Chief Carlos Calvillo gave our club a powerful window into the reality of the sacrifices made by our fire fighters. His insights hit home, especially on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy.
On September 18, Chef Robert Bell presented his career story from the streets of Brooklyn, to starting multiple restaurants around SoCal. He inspired us with his “American Dream” story of grit and perseverance leading to becoming a successful Chef and entrepreneur.
