Happy Tuesday! Hope you had a nice, relaxing, long weekend. In Martin Luther King Jr. news, the District Brunch this past Sunday at Proudbird was delightful and educational. The theme was empathy and we heard from several fascinating speakers including, Mobolaji Olambiwonnu, the director Of Ferguson Rises, an award-winning documentary about the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, and the Black Lives Matters movement that rose up around it. We are advised to check out the documentary on Amazon and also practice Empathy as we journey through our days.
