Rotary Responders Roundup 2026 is in the books! Thank you to everyone who contributed to make this event a huge success! We raised over $25,000 for our Rotary PVP Foundation!! (net after expenses).

First Quarter Report: July -September 2026

We have closed the first quarter of our Rotary year! When I installed our Board in July, our Rotary International Chair Yinka Babaloa asked all of us to create lasting impact, and boy have we answered the call! Our Club rolled up their sleeves, and answered the call to serve.

Membership: We started the Rotary year with 35 members, and we now have 41 members! We welcomed Melissa Gordon, Jackie Chang, Joe Wang, Reiko Michlig, Sonny Gancayco and Sami Levi.

Fundraising: Our second RRR raised over $25,000!

Fellowship: We participated in the District Cardboard boat race and won first place!

We had a fun Palate and Pour event at the library.

We've had two evening wine tasting events at California Surf club and PV Wine Club.

Speakers who inpired us: We heard from LA Fire Chief Carlos Calvillo, Chef Robert Bell, Storm Chaser Brian Press, Rick Humphrey and plein air painting, Rick Mendoza underwater photography, Julia Parton on the history of our club, and craft talks by Marco Mendoza, and Norton Donner.

President Carol Levi brought funds from our club's Disaster Relief fund, to the Rotary Club of Poipu Kauai. She presented Poipu Club Vice President Cyrus Tumbaga with a $500 check for disaster relief from Hurricane Lowell.

New Applicant Daniel DeVeau has applied to become a member of our club! Daniel has attended one club meeting and RRR. He recently moved from Michigan.
