Rotarian Augie Baeza of CalWater treated our club to a presentation at the CalWater facility in Torrance on October 23. We learned about where our water originates and how it is distributed. Following Augie's talk, we heard from LACounty Fire department members about how the LAFD coordinates water needs with CalWater, and finally we were treated to a live fire extinguisher demonstration.

The next HOVOOTM is on Saturday November 14 at the Rise Against Hunger food packing event at the YMCA in Torrance.
