A few reminders for the coming weeks. This Friday, we are back at Los Verdes for the K-9 unit and you do not want to miss it. Happy Bucks and Blonde jokes are back and in full effect, so we hope to see you Friday. Next week, we are dark for Labor Day. Enjoy your holiday weekend and do not come to the club.
We return on September 8th for our club Assembly. We urge everyone to join us for the assembly because this is where your input will be heard and taken into consideration for the year!
We have District News at the bottom, but this week we continue our highlight of the month with our very own Jennifer Addington! Last Friday, we had the pleasure of seeing Jennifer at the library in her natural habitat for a special off-site club meeting, which was fantastic. Jennifer's associate Ryan gave a fascinating presentation on Internet Literacy, which we will share in another email coming soon.
I think everyone already knows, but I'll say it anyway. We are so lucky to have Jennifer in the club. Not only is she a dynamo in her role at the library she's also really smart and lots of fun.
