A couple of notes to start us off. Please mark your calendars that we have a board meeting next Friday the 19th at PVLD. There will be no regular club meeting. We meet again on April 26th at the library to hear about the Ecuador trip.
A big shoutout to new member Daniel Elroi who gave an incredible presentation last week at his craft talk. Daniel's knowledge and expertise on landslides were both fascinating and entertaining, as we're watching it happen in our backyard... Great job, Daniel.
This Friday, I am your presenter! Why, you ask? You're about to be our president, haven't we had enough?? Not yet. I have spent the last two years writing, selling, and marketing my first big published book. This is an important development when you are the daughter of a 9-time NYT bestselling author!
The Mother-Daughter Relationship Makeover from HCI Books comes out next week for Mother's Day. I will share about this book, the writing process with my famous author mother, and how we put this all together. I'll also update everyone on my non-profit as I received a district grant this year and have started teaching at a New Way Of Life.
Here is the book and a link to the Simon & Schuster Page to learn more!
We've been so lucky to have the power of our publisher behind us. Below is a clip from ABC news in Tennessee. We've been on Fox News in Houston, Georgia and we have two beautiful pieces coming out for Mother's Day. One is a two hour interview with Oprah Daily and the other is a segment for Fox News Channel digital. Excited to share all about our process and how we got here with the club!
The board has approved the application of Paul Klose! If any club member has a concern regarding this approval, please communicate with Jim Hartman at 310-544-4476. This serves as your first announcement.
