Happy Columbus Day! We have a lot going on with the club and the district, so grab a latte and find your favorite chair.
On the Camp Pendleton donation front, we received a note from Dave Henseler. "Thank you to everyone who made donations. A 26 ft UHaul truck was full by noon. We also collected $2,000 in gift cards and checks for the Pendleton Community Service Fund Foundation." Thanks again and good job done by all!

Soul Of Rotary Benefit Concert
If you are not reading your district newsletter, you are in big trouble. Just kidding. But, there is a lot going on about The Soul Of Rotary Concert. Rotary needs you to sell your tickets, and buy your tickets if you're attending.
We were also informed last week that we can sit together as a group at the concert and there are already people interested. So, if you want to attend and sit together, buy your tickets and we'll provide info on how to sit together soon.
Tickets are $10 each and if you purchase 10 tickets you receive two bonus tickets (a total of 12 for $100). In order to incentivize greater participation this year, the winning prizes are significantly higher than in the past! You could be a winner of $7,500, $5,000 or $2,500! Download instructions.
Hurricane Ian Relief Fund
Many of our Rotarian friends in Florida have lost their homes and everything they have. I'm relieved to report that Sarasota (home to the editor's mother) was spared but Fort Meyers, Sanibel, Northport, and other areas were not. No pressure at all but if you are interested in learning more or helping out, click below.
Please do not forget that The Model UN Peace Conference is Sat Oct. 22nd and they are looking for people to attend.
